Mrs. Lola Ade John

Minister of Tourism

Alhaji Nura  Kangiwa

Director-General

National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR)

D

ear Mrs. Lola Ade John and Alhaji Nura Kangiwa,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.

Kindly don't mind the heading of this letter

It is the thought of some evil reactionaries and retrogressive souls who don't want the advancement of the brand new Tourism Ministry and its parastatals

Thus, on behalf of the Bureau of Tourism Development in Ekiti state, I am honored to extend my warmest congratulations to you both on the occasion of the inauguration of the Mobile Training Kitchen, a remarkable achievement made possible during the advent of the new Tourism Ministry.

It is truly a testimony to the visionary leadership and dedication that you bring to the field of tourism. Mrs. Lola Ade John, your appointment as the Minister of Tourism has infused a refreshing aura of accomplishment into the industry. Your enthusiasm and commitment to improving the tourism sector are commendable, and this recent achievement further solidifies your passion to drive positive change.

Equally deserving of mention is Alhaji  Nura Kangiwa, the Director-General of NIHOTOUR.

His  proactive approach and unwavering commitment to promoting excellence in the hospitality and tourism industry are highly regarded.

The inception of the Mobile Training Kitchen not only demonstrates his innovative thinking but also his relentless pursuit of enhancing the skills and expertise of professionals in the field.

The Mobile Training Kitchen is a significant milestone for the Ministry of Tourism and NIHOTOUR, and it holds great promise for the future of the industry. This state-of-the-art facility will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of tourism by providing high-quality culinary training and enriching the skills of aspiring chefs and hospitality personnel.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you both, Mrs. Lola Ade John and Alhaji Nuru Kangiwa, for this remarkable achievement. We are confident that your stellar leadership and collective efforts will continue to revolutionize the tourism sector, bringing about positive economic impacts and promoting Ekiti state and Nigeria as desirable tourist destinations.

We look forward to witnessing the Mobile Training Kitchen's success and the positive impact it will have on the hospitality and tourism industry. May you both continue to inspire us with your innovative approaches and bring about meaningful change in the years to come.

Finally, I believe that Ekiti State should be on the front burner of the states to benefit from the import of this Mobile Training Kitchen

Ekiti State has no outlet or a training unit of NIHOTOUR and has not benefited from any of its numerous pro-state programs

We believe that NIHOTOUR is nationalistic in its charter, objective, mission, and vision.

Once again

Congratulations

Yours sincerely,

Amb Wale Ojo- Lanre

EKITI NANTA OBTAINS CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION FROM BUREAU OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

 EKITI NANTA OBTAINS

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION FROM BUREAU OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

In a major boost to the fast-rising Ekiti tourism sector, a major player in the Travels and Tours industry, the National Association of NigerianTravel Agencies, NANTA,  Ekiti State Chapter today, received a certificate of registration from Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development

Making the presentation in his office, the DG Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre Esq in his brief remarks, welcomed the representatives of NANTA to his office while assuring them of government support and collaboration.

"I'm delighted to present this certificate of registration of your association as a bonafide and recognized travel agency association in Ekiti State. The certificate which has government approval allows you to perform your legitimate functions within the extant law of Ekiti State. This is to serve as a warning that any travel agency not registered with the state government and your association is not recognized and cannot operate in the state.

"You have made a bold move by reaching out to the Bureau of Tourism Development indicating your interest in establishing your trade-in Ekiti State and key into Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji's lofty ideas about exploring the hugpotentialls in tourism.

"Your recognition by the state government is a challenge to you as an organization to play the game according to the rules because there are lots of fake travel agencies whose stock in trade is to scam unsuspecting clients with promises of overseas travels but failed to deliver. Many people had fallen victim to such organizations in the past" he said.

Sikiru Olanrewaju, Chairman, Ekiti State NANTA  while receiving the certificate of registration thanked the DG for providing the enabling environment to engage with their operations in Ekiti State noting that the primary objective of NANTA in Ekiti State is to sanitize the Travels and Tours industry to offer the best services to the good people of Ekiti state.
