On November 6, 2024, Mr. Ayo Ojo, the Technical Advisor on Youth Inclusion to the Ekiti State Governor, convened a strategic meeting with Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, the Director-General of the Bureau of Tourism Development in his office .

The discussion centered on the future of tourism in Ekiti State, with a particular emphasis on the crucial role young people can play in driving tourism growth and stimulating local economic development.

Both leaders expressed mutual commitment to empowering Ekiti's youth, recognizing them as essential stakeholders in the region's tourism initiative. With Ekiti State blessed with abundant natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, they explored sustainable ways to leverage these assets through active youth participation.

During the meeting, Ojo-Lanre and Ojo addressed several pivotal topics aimed at revitalizing Ekiti's tourism market and attracting inward investments. They stressed the importance of enhancing the visibility and appeal of the state to transform it into a premier tourist destination, thereby facilitating economic progress. The leaders identified strategies to engage both domestic and international tourists, highlighting Ekiti's historical sites, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cultural offerings. They concurred that empowering young people with the requisite skills, resources, and platforms was vital for their active participation and substantial benefit from the tourism sector's growth.

A significant portion of their dialogue focused on fostering collaboration between the Bureau of Tourism Development and the youth sector. Emphasizing the need for an integrated approach, both leaders understood that effective policies and programs designed to engage Ekiti’s youth could emerge from such cooperation. This collaborative strategy, they believed, would not only enhance youth engagement in the tourism industry but also position them as ambassadors of Ekiti’s rich heritage.

To bring their vision to fruition, Ojo-Lanre and Ojo identified several initiatives aimed at promoting youth involvement in tourism. First, they proposed incorporating educational tourism into school curricula to instill an appreciation for heritage among students from a young age. He articulated guiding principles such as, “Youths are the soul of Tourism,” “No youth, no tourism,” and “Youth is tourism, Tourism is Youth.” For Ojo-Lanre, engaging young people transcended mere goal-setting; it was a foundational philosophy. He firmly believed that their involvement would be pivotal to the future success of Ekiti’s tourism endeavor. By empowering youth, he argued, Ekiti could cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and robust tourism industry poised to benefit generations to come.

As the meeting drew to a close, both leaders expressed optimism about the prospects of tourism in Ekiti. This event attracted over 251 young participants across Ekiti State, showcasing remarkable creative talents and inspiring local ingenuity.

Barrister Ojo-Lanre signed a formal congratulatory release, commending Mrs. Shola Adesola, the founder of Afreeko Creative Hub, for her dedication to nurturing creativity among Ekiti’s budding stars. “Mrs. Adesola’s commitment to igniting the creative instincts of our youth aligns with our goal of fostering talent that can drive both cultural enrichment and economic development in Ekiti State,” Ojo-Lanre stated.

Ekiti State Government has warned that anybody apprehended engaging in unauthorized activities and encroachment of any of the tourist sites in the State will henceforth be prosecuted in accordance with the State’s tourism law.

The State Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, raised alarm over reports of “unlawful activities of certain individuals masquerading as “tour operators” to violate established protocols designed to protect the State’s natural landmark and tourism heritage at the Abanijorin Rock in Iyin Ekiti which is officially designated as a protected area under the State law”.

Reiterating the commitment of the State Government to the preservation of its natural and cultural heritage, Rt. Hon. Olatunbosun explained that the Tourism and Hospitality Licensing and Regulatory Law, 2020 was enacted to regulate the exploitation of the natural resources and ensure sustainable conservation initiatives to prevent unwarranted abuse.

He stressed that the Tourism apparatus in the State is well-planned and managed to protect the natural beauty of the tourist sites and would therefore not tolerate any attempt to undermine efforts at safeguarding the designated sites.

The Commissioner added that the Tourism law expressly states that “every tour business and tour activity taking place in Ekiti State shall be regulated and supervised by the Ministry” adding that it also added that “every tour operation in the State must be authorized with a valid letter of Authorization duly endorsed by the Ministry”.

“Abanijorin Rock is not only a breathtaking natural site but also a crucial part of Ekiti State’s cultural heritage. As such, it is officially designated as a protected area under state law. The integrity and preservation of this site are of utmost importance, it is essential that all visitors respect it sanctity”. 

“To ensure compliance and protect the natural beauty of Abanijorin Rock, any organization, group, or individual wishing to visit or engage in any activities at the Rock must obtain explicit permission and approval from the Bureau of Tourism Development at the Governor’s Office”.

“Noncompliance with these regulations may result in legal actions against offending parties”. 

He solicited the continued support of all stakeholders particularly the host communities to efforts of Government at protecting the State’s heritage.

You might think I’m being overly, or perhaps even meddlesome. Let me clarify: I’m not an outsider with no stake in Ondo .

 I am a bona fide Nigerian, deeply invested in the developmental issues that impact the lives of fellow citizens within our complex nation.

So let's set aside any doubts and delve into the reasons why Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa deserves your vote. 

Join me in exploring the merits of his leadership and the potential benefits for our dear Ondo State where the sun shines brighter than in others .

 While I may not be a traditional “Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa’s person,” due to my deep-rooted relationships with Hon. Wale Akinterinwa and Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, I fully recognize the immense support Governor Ayedatiwa has garnered from prominent figures such as Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, CON, and Ondo State Attorney General Dr. Rahman Olusegun Mimiko. Both men, whose profound impact on my life remains unforgettable, are pillars of support for Governor Ayedatiwa’s success in the upcoming Ondo State election is very critical to the sustainable and rapid grow of Ondo State ,a state of seawater , bitumen, cocoa , crude oil and humongous cultural tourism assets 

My objective view of Governor Ayedatiwa is informed by a detailed assessment of his administration and leadership. Since taking office following the passing of Brother Odunayo (the late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, former Governor of Ondo State), Ayedatiwa has conducted himself with integrity, humility, and a commitment to public service. 

He has avoided the pitfalls of arrogance, instead embodying a respectful and responsible approach to governance.

It is this dedication to continuity and the advancement of impactful policies, projects, and programs that has solidified my commitment to Governor Ayedatiwa and my belief in his capacity to lead Ondo State to even greater heights.

 The Progress of Ondo State Under Governor Ayedatiwa has been tremendous , having brilliantly and successfully completed the 2nd term of the late Gov Akeredolu  , I am solidly behind him to continue the good work .

As an advocate of continuity in governance brimming with joy the no- go- slow advancement in Lagos State and in my State Ekiti , I urge you as an agent of change tell your friends the reasons why you people should vote for Governor Ayedatiwa.

And  as the sun sets over the scenic landscapes of Ondo State, it casts a warm glow on the strides made under Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa’s leadership. 

He not only embraced the vision of his predecessor, the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, but also elevated it, delivering governance that has transformed the lives of Ondo State’s citizens. Moreover, Ayedatiwa’s administration has consistently focused on empowering Ondo’s residents. Through various skill acquisition programs, the youth have gained practical skills that enhance their employability, promoting economic independence and nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship within the state.

In line with his vision for a more inclusive society, Ayedatiwa has also championed women’s empowerment, recognizing that gender equality is essential for societal advancement. His administration’s initiatives have set a new standard, fostering inclusivity and encouraging social justice across Ondo State.

As global awareness of environmental issues grows, Ayedatiwa’s administration has demonstrated remarkable foresight by championing sustainable development initiatives. Efforts to promote waste recycling, reforestation, and renewable energy usage position Ondo State as a leader in environmental responsibility.

Ondo State is rich in culture and natural resources, and Governor Ayedatiwa’s approach to tourism development is particularly commendable. 

By spotlighting Ondo’s scenic landscapes and cultural heritage, he is fostering economic growth, creating jobs, and supporting local businesses, all while preserving the state’s natural beauty for future generations.

He has decided to explore the economic benefits of the Tourism and Cultural sector hence his appointment of capable and experts to handle  the affairs of the sector .

It is remarkable that has appointed a Special Assistant on Culture Princess Dupe Adetuwo as Special Assistant on Culture. 

All to show his commitment to the development of Tourism and act.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa has shown exceptional leadership, building upon the legacy of Governor Akeredolu while addressing current challenges with innovative solutions. As Ondo State approaches the next election, the progress made under his leadership stands as a compelling case for his reelection.

In an exhilarating celebration of culture and heritage, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State has been awarded the prestigious "Outstanding Promoter of African Heritage" award at the grand Goge Africa 25th Anniversary event held at Onikan Stadium in Lagos. 

According to Amb Isaac Moses and Nneka Moses , the Award is to acknowledge the governor’s extraordinary dedication to promoting African culture, heritage, and tourism within a remarkably short span of two years.

The award was enthusiastically presented by Bisi Olatilo, President of Bisi Olatilo TV, in the esteemed company of Amb. Isaac Moses and Nneka Moses, the visionary Founders of Goge Africa. 

Prince Olatilo articulated his admiration for the governor’s accomplishments, stating, “Governor Oyebanji is doing well,” as he outlined the transformative impact of the governor's leadership on areas such as  tourism policy and initiatives , education, infrastructural development, and the successful completion of the Ekiti Airport.

Under Governor Oyebanji’s dynamic administration, Ekiti State has emerged as a vibrant hub for heritage tourism, showcasing the richness of its cultural offerings and encouraging both local and international appreciation.  The former Minister of a Stand alone Tourism Ministry ? 

Happy she has been sacked ? 

Oh ye mockers, gather here and let's dance! Let’s celebrate, for the lady is gone. Yes, that lady we conspired against, whispered about secret corners, and wrote countless articles to discredit.

 Remember how we even wished her dead when she lay on her sickbed? But God, in His mercy, healed her and restored her to her position—the first Minister of the standalone Ministry of Tourism in Nigeria, Mrs. Lola Ade-John.

Yes, she’s gone now. Removed, as many of you have long desired. Sacked. Glory be to God, right?

I see you rejoicing, but count me out of this revelry. I am not part of your celebration.

I never wished her dead, and I am not among those who longed for her downfall. To me, she was a woman who rose above the odds, dedicated to her duty even in the face of adversity. She didn’t just try—she left her mark on a ministry that barely existed before her.

As Wale Ojo-Lanre, I choose to salute her resilience, her determination, and her commitment. She may be gone, but her efforts will not be forgotten.

So, mockers, dance if you must. But I will stand apart, honoring a woman who gave her all.

Rather I  bid farewell to Lola Ade John, the former Minister of Tourism in Nigeria. 

 I  reflect on a tenure marked by resilience, dedication, and ceaseless effort in the face of daunting challenges.

 It’s a bittersweet goodbye, as I  acknowledge both the obstacles she encountered and the remarkable strides she made during her time in office.

From day one, Lola faced an uphill battle. Appointed to lead a newly established Ministry, she stepped into a role that lacked fundamental resources—a seed fund, a permanent secretary, and even an office from which to work. 

Despite these hurdles, she plunged into her duties with an unwavering passion that was evident to all who crossed her path.

Her journey was interrupted by a serious illness that kept her in the hospital for four long months.

 Yet, what might have deterred many only fueled her resolve to make a difference. Upon her return to the helm of the Ministry, she wasted no time in re-engaging with her mission—visiting six states, convening stakeholders, and rallying support from all corners of the tourism sector. She truly embodied a spirit of perseverance.

Lola was not just a minister; she was a visionary. She initiated the private sector committee to craft a national tourism policy and championed community tourism initiatives that would empower local communities and promote authentic Nigerian experiences. Her collaboration with state governors to revive languishing tourism sites showcased her commitment to revitalizing an industry rich with potential.

Moreover, Lola’s efforts to cultivate a collaborative environment between the private and public sectors were commendable.

 Her strategic plans to launch Nigeria back into the London Travel Market were not mere ambitions; they were stepping stones toward a thriving tourism economy. Through partnerships with NIHOTOUR, she trained over 600 tour guides—equipping them to represent Nigeria’s diverse heritage and beauty to the world.

Her innovative Ecogenesis incubator program aimed to nurture budding tourism entrepreneurs, further amplifying her commitment to sustainable growth in the hospitality sector. Lola’s resuscitation of the Tourism and Culture Commissioners’ meetings served as a platform for collaboration and shared vision among state players. Her support for initiatives like IPADA reflects her understanding of the holistic development required for Nigeria’s tourism landscape.

Despite her visionary plans and tireless work, the sudden termination of her appointment feels like a deep injustice—a classic case of someone being stripped of their potential just as they are reaching for the stars. It’s essential to recognize that, while she did not achieve everything she set out to do, what she accomplished in such a short time is nothing short of remarkable. She laid the groundwork for future leaders to build upon, and her legacy will not be forgotten.

As I  say goodbye, my heartfelt grief makes room for gratitude. 

Lola, you have fought the good fight and your unwavering spirit shall remain an inspiration to many. Know that your efforts were not in vain, and there is a community of supporters who stand behind you. 

In this moment of transition, I urge you not to be disheartened. 

The trials you faced were immense, but so too were your contributions. 

As you close this chapter, remember that your tenacity and passionate advocacy for Nigeria’s tourism sector speak volumes. Your story is far from over, and we know that greater mountains await.

Thank you for everything, Lola Ade John. You tried your best, and your impact will echo in the corridors of Nigerian tourism for years to come. I  look forward to witnessing your next adventures—you are destined for greatness in whatever form it takes.

 The vibrant Ayo Olopon Tourism Festival is officially underway in Ekiti State, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region and promoted by the Ayo Olopon Group in Sweden in partnership with the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism. This grand initiative aims to blend tourism, culture, and community spirit, positioning Ekiti as a rising tourist destination.

The festival is being hosted at Elegant Lounge & Bar behind Damlek Event Hall, along Federal Housing road, Oke Ila, Ado Ekiti,  Ekiti State.

Ambassador Oladele Ayotunde, the Ayo Olopon Group Festival Director in Nigeria, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The Ayo Olopon Festival is vital for celebrating our unique heritage while attracting visitors to Ekiti. By highlighting traditional games and cultural practices, we not only preserve our history but also illuminate the potential of our local tourism industry.”

Subject: Appeal for Reconsideration of the Moratorium on Law Admissions at Lead City University, Ibadan

Dear Esteemed Members,

With great humility and respect do I formally appeal for the reconsideration of the moratorium placed on Lead City University, Ibadan, preventing the admission of law students for the next five years.

 While I appreciate the Council’s intent to uphold high standards in legal education, I believe this decision does not accurately reflect the capabilities and resources that Lead City University offers to aspiring legal professionals.

Lead City University has made remarkable progress in providing a comprehensive and robust legal education. The institution is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated faculty that stands among the best in the nation. One of its key assets, the law library, is a testament to its  commitment to legal education. With two stories and a seating capacity of 775, it offers an extensive collection of legal texts, databases, and online resources essential for rigorous academic inquiry. This facility is pivotal in cultivating critical thinking and a thorough understanding of the law among the students.

In addition to its exceptional resources, Lead City University is proud to have a distinguished faculty comprised of scholars who not only possess impressive academic qualifications but also extensive practical experience across various legal disciplines. Lead City University Law faculty members are deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of legal practitioners and scholars, ensuring a transformative educational experience that is rich in knowledge and passionate about the law.

The success of the alumni further underscores the quality of education offered at Lead City University. Graduates from Lead City University law program have consistently excelled in various sectors of the legal field, establishing themselves as capable professionals both nationally and internationally. They serve as living testaments to the quality of education provided, and I am confident that current and future students will continue to uphold these high standards.

Imposing a moratorium on admissions limits the opportunities for aspiring law students who wish to pursue their education at Lead City University.

I respectfully urge the Council to reconsider this moratorium in light of the evidence presented. Allowing Lead City University to once again admit law students would not only benefit the institution but also enrich the broader legal community in Nigeria.

As today October 1,2024 marks the International Day of Older Persons, with the theme "Ageing with Dignity: The Importance of Strengthening Care and Support Systems for Older Persons Worldwide." , an Ado-Ekiti-based non-governmental organization, Worldsmith Life Builders Foundation  has  emphasized the urgent need to protect the rights and dignity of older persons both globally and in Nigeria.

In a statement, Dr. Akinjide Akinleye, mni, President of the foundation, highlighted the invaluable contributions of older individuals, whose wisdom and experience benefit current and future generations. He underscored the challenges faced by older persons, including social isolation, limited access to healthcare, economic insecurity, and discrimination.

Dr. Akinleye commended the Ekiti State government, led by Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for its initiatives aimed at improving the living standards of elderly residents, including addressing the backlog of gratuities and providing essential support to retirees.

Citing statistics, Dr. Akinleye noted that individuals aged 65 and above constitute 3% of Nigeria’s population, making the country home to the largest elderly population in Africa and ranking 19th globally. He urged all levels of government and individuals to enhance healthcare systems, promote age-friendly environments, and invest in social protection programs for older persons.

He called for a concerted effort to combat ageism and stereotypes that undermine the contributions of older adults through education and awareness initiatives.

The Worldsmith Life Builders Foundation pledges to advocate for the rights and recognition of older persons in society, emphasizing their vital role in community life.

Before I begin, I would like to correct a misrepresentation about the beautiful waterfall in Erin Ijesa, Osun State. It is the Olumirin Waterfall, not the Erin Ijesa Waterfall.

I want to make it clear that whatever is happening to this beautiful waterfall now is not the fault of Governor Ademola Adeleke. He bears no blame in this matter whatsoever.

Osun State is home to three exceptional waterfalls:

1. Olumirin Waterfall, Erin Ijesa

2. Ayinkunugba Waterfall, Oke-Ila

3. Abojowa Waterfall, Oke-Ila (seasonal)

For the past 12 years, I, along with my colleagues Remi Oladoye, Mimiola Olaoluwa, and Tayo Adelaja, under the Alarinka Agbaye Team, have been traveling around Nigeria, particularly the Southwest region, to promote and advocate for the enhancement of various tourism sites at my own expense.

It is with this in mind that I want you to read my efforts in canvassing and advocating for the enhancement of the Olumirin Waterfall in Erin Ijesa. Whatever is happening to this waterfall now is not the doing of Governor Ademola Adeleke, but rather our collective and deliberate stance of not listening to some prophets when they are calling our attention.

I am glad that, like the former Governor Aregbesola, Governor Ademola Adeleke is now taking over. I have dedicated a significant part of my life to laboring for the enhancement of tourism in Nigeria, particularly in the Southwest region, at my own expense. I am grateful that there is now a glimmer of hope shining through the tunnel.

Governor Ayedatiwa has received widespread commendation following the appointment of Dupe Adetuwo as the Special Assistant on Arts and Culture. Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, the Director General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism, hailed the decision as "apt, perfect, fit, and proper."

In his statement, Barrister Ojo-Lanre emphasized that Governor Ayedatiwa has chosen the best candidate for the position.

 That is a dark and blatant lie—a total falsehood. 

You mean to say that the brilliant, humble, respectful, academic, intelligent, compassionate, charismatic, graceful, inspiring, diligent, elegant, visionary, supportive, and resilient wife of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, the workaholic Governor of Kwara State, would ever stoop so low? 

Just your imagination.

This is what  transpired 

 This is what I told the Kwara State First Lady:

Today, at the NATOP AGM held in Ilorin, where I was made a panelist, I called on the Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrasaq, to create a separate Ministry for Tourism. I reiterated the request I had made earlier during the 8th Senate, advocating for the establishment of a dedicated Tourism Ministry for the state.

The Governor was represented by the Commissioner for Communication, Arts, Culture and Tourism, Bolanle Olukoju, and I took the opportunity to directly appeal to the representative for the creation of this standalone ministry.

I also had the privilege of meeting with the First Lady of Kwara State, Her Excellency Ambassador Prof. Olufolake Abdulrasaq, to further lobby for this cause. The First Lady had earlier delivered an insightful and illuminating paper on the tourism potential of Kwara State, and she graciously promised to convey my message to the "deep thinker" Governor Abdulrasaq.

I am hopeful that with the support of the First Lady and the state government's commitment to leveraging Kwara's tourism assets, the creation of a dedicated Tourism Ministry will soon become a reality, further strengthening the state's efforts to promote and develop its vast tourism offerings.

This selfless act, undertaken amidst the festivities, underscores her unwavering passion for the growth and exploration of the tourism potentials in the state.

During her visit, Mrs. Ade-John's impact was felt across multiple fronts. She graced the official presentation of certificates to 45 tour guides trained by the Nigerian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism. This strategic investment in human capital development is a testament to the Minister's vision for empowering local communities and enhancing the visitor experience in Ekiti State.

The highlight of the visit came when the King of Iyin, Oba Ajakaiye, and the entire Iyin kingdom conferred upon Mrs. Ade-John the prestigious title of "Daughter of Iyin Ekiti," in recognition of her selfless efforts and unwavering commitment to the tourism development of the state and the country at large.

Furthermore, the Minister joined the Governor of Ekiti State in a hiking expedition to the Abanijorin Rock of Wonders, a unique geological marvel boasting seven caves and an amphitheater that can accommodate over 240 people. This hands-on approach to exploring the state's tourism assets underscores Mrs. Ade-John's dedication to understanding and promoting the diverse offerings that Ekiti has to offer.

It is truly shameful that any individual would dare to describe the Honorable Minister's tireless efforts as "shambolic." Mrs. Lola Ade-John is undoubtedly one of the best tourism personalities ever appointed in Nigeria, having visited over 12 states within just 8 months, steadfastly advocating for the growth and development of the tourism industry.

Her only perceived "offense" is her refusal to feed the proverbial "tourism system  rats," who believe that subtle blackmail and acidic fruitless criticism is the only road to catch her attention a testament to her unwavering focus on delivering tangible results for the betterment of the tourism sector and the Nigerian people as a whole instead of patronizing and servicing unprofitable and irrelevant cabal .

Ekiti State, and indeed the entire nation, is deeply grateful for Mrs. Lola Ade-John's selfless dedication and visionary leadership. Her visit has undoubtedly paved the way for a brighter future in the realm of tourism, and we eagerly await her continued efforts to transform this vital industry.

Honestly , Mrs Lola Ade - John has  stamped her imprint in the tourism atmosphere in Nigeria within six months via Ecogenesis incubator programme ,  identification and participation in tourism events  and her solid drive for Community Tourism .

A feat which some who had spent donkey years at the corridors of tourism house could not be reckoned with .

And whoever is having grudges with her has the right to do so without using her Ekiti successful trip as a reference .

In a promising start to her tenure, Hajia Bilkisu Abdulsalam Ogueyi, the newly appointed General Manager of the Kogi State Hotels and Tourism Board, has already played host to a delegation from the United States Embassy in Nigeria.

Just a few weeks after assuming her position, Hajia Bilkisu welcomed a team from the Public Diplomacy Section of the US Embassy in Abuja on June 20th, 2024. The visit was aimed at fostering cultural exchange, promoting mutual understanding, and facilitating dialogue on the rich precolonial and colonial histories of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.

The US delegation was led by Mr. Peter Burba, the Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, who was accompanied by Hannatu Sadiq, Alumni Coordinator 

Public Diplomacy Section.noted that  the significance of Kogi State in the conceptualization of modern-day Nigeria. "There is a wealth of cultural history cutting across the tribes, people, and governance in Kogi State, which has played a pivotal role in shaping the Nigeria we know today," he remarked.

In her response, Hajia Bilkisu expressed her hope that this would be the first of many collaborations between the Tourism Board and the US Embassy during her tenure as the General Manager. "The timing of this visit is especially meaningful, as it coincides with my appointment as the new GM. I am excited to explore how we can build on this initial engagement to promote cultural exchange and understanding."

The tour included a visit to the Lokoja Museum, where the delegation explored the historical archives of the precolonial and colonial eras. They also climbed Mount Patti to study the unique landscape of Lokoja, sighted the first communication mast that transmitted to Northern Nigeria, and visited the spot where Nigeria was named by Lady Flora Shaw, among other significant sites.

This promising start to Hajia Bilkisu's tenure as the General Manager of the Kogi State Hotels and Tourism Board suggests a fruitful partnership between the Board and the US Embassy, one that could unlock new opportunities for cultural exchange and tourism development in the state.
