 Pastor Tutu Olutayo and Adeniké Olutayo Wife , were on holiday to Nigeria from Sweden. They paid a visit to Ekiti State

Ekiti State, Nigeria – Yesterday, Saturday, July 20, 2024, Ekiti State welcomed Pastor Tutu Olutayo and his wife, Mrs. Adeniké Olutayo, from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus Connection,  Goteborg, Sweden.

 The couple was warmly received and conducted on an extensive tour of Ekiti State by a dedicated team from the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development.


The tour, led by Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre Esq, Director General of the Bureau, along with Adegboyega Morakinyo, Executive Secretary, and Bernard Udensi, a youth corps member, showcased the rich cultural and natural heritage of Ekiti State.

 The couple received a comprehensive briefing on Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s tourism vision at the Bureau's office, highlighting the state's commitment to enhancing its tourism potential.


During their visit, Pastor Tutu and Mrs. Adeniké Olutayo enjoyed a taste of pounded yam , an authentic Ekiti cuisine, immersing themselves in the local culinary delights.

 The highlight of their tour was a visit to the renowned Ikogosi Warm and Cold Springs Resort. 

The tour of the resort was conducted by Dele Olujekun, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Ayo Ademilua, Community Engagement Officer, who provided insights into the unique natural phenomenon and the resort’s development.


Pastor Tutu commended Governor Oyebanji for his visionary leadership and the effective utilization of Ikogosi’s natural resources for the betterment of Ekiti State. 

He also praised the proactive efforts of the Bureau of Tourism Development in promoting Ekiti’s tourism potential globally.


Pastor Tutu pledged to serve as a marketing ambassador for Ekiti State, vowing to promote its rich cultural and natural attractions within the diaspora community and beyond.


The visit marks a significant step in strengthening the ties between Ekiti State and the Nigerian diaspora, showcasing the state's commitment to tourism development and cultural promotion.
