reactions to Victoria Beckham grabbing her man.

Victoria Beckham grabs David’s golden balls (Woah there Posh!)

Victoria Beckham famously admitted she called her husband David's erm, package 'golden balls' but now her fondness for his lunchbox area has grown to new heights.

The singer-turned-fashion designer posed for a photo in New York showing her grabbing the downstairs area of her hubby's H&M bodywear ad.

David then posted the pic on his Facebook with the caption: "So proud of my wife taking #NYFW by the balls."
And that she has… Victoria showed her collection last Saturday as her hubby proudly looked on!
Once the stress of the show was over, the fashionista set to work viewing other collections and not forgetting to factor in some shopping and, judging by this pic, some fun too!

The snap will no doubt help see a soar in sales of David's Bodywear collection for H&M, especially as the new catalogue has just been released.
Additions to the high street line include Y-fronts, loose boxer shorts, jogging bottoms, vests and t-shirts.
We couldn't think of a better way to plug brand Beckham than this silly shot!

TOP SIGNS HE'S MARRIAGE MATERIAL

Top signs he's marriage material
Trying to figure out if he’s a keeper? Here’s the most common signs he’s ready to make the ultimate commitment.

You’ve met his folks
If he’s introduced you to his parents and is happy to show you off at family gatherings, you can be pretty sure he’s planning on hanging around. Sharing you with his nearest and dearest is a clear indication that he envisages having you in his life for more than just a short time.

He wants children
When he talks about the future he includes you in his plans and doesn’t flinch when the conversation turns to the topic of children. Tell tale comments such as “I wonder what our children would look like.” And “When I’m a dad…” are a dead giveaway that he’s given the matter thought and is keen to move forward together. Game on!

He’s house trained
A little bit of untidiness and occasional laziness is permissible, but unless you’re planning on living like a 1950’s housewife you don’t want to spend the rest of your life picking up his dirty socks and doing his dishes no matter how much you love him. If your man has a vacuum cleaner and knows how to use it, does the washing-up and knows which day the recycling is collected, you’re on to a winner. If not, he isn’t a lost cause, you might just need to engage in some gentle training.

He treats women with respect
The way your man behaves around other women - especially his mother or sister - is a good way of gauging his true character. Next time he’s with his mother, sister or other female friends, watch how he treats them. Does he talk over them, dismiss their ideas and bulldoze them into his way of thinking or is he gentlemanly, chivalrous and respectful at all times? Marriage to someone who doesn’t hold your gender in high regard will be tricky to say the least.

He’s supportive
In a crisis situation your man always finds a way to be there for you no matter how busy he is with work or other commitments. In other words, you’re top of his priority list.
Marriage is about being able to support one another in times of uncertainty or emotional unrest. A man who listens to your woes, does the best to understand the situation and offers advice and support when you’re feeling low or going through a rough patch is definitely someone you want to have around.

Your friends and family approve
When it comes to your welfare, close friends and family are harder to please than Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood. Their opinion of your man matters a great deal. It’s those closest to you who have your best interests at heart (most of the time at least). If they seem troubled by your latest match, then there could be some cause for concern. If however, they seem to think he’s Mr Wonderful, you should take it as a good sign. They wouldn’t give you their seal of approval unless they were completely convinced he’s a good egg.

He treats you well
It might sound obvious, but even more important than the way he treats others, is how he treats you. We’re not saying he should put you on a pedestal and shower you with romantic gifts and presents every day – nice as that may sound. We’re talking about how he behaves towards you in public and in private. A bit of bickering and the odd argument are perfectly healthy, but if you start feeling bullied or constantly undermined, it’s time to have a serious think about whether he really is the right one for you.

He’s trustworthy
You need to be able to trust the man you plan to spend the rest of your life with, not just to be loyal and faithful, but also to be honest and frank about other areas of his life including money and work. If he’s lied or concealed things from you in the past, or made promises he doesn’t keep, what’s to stop him doing so again? Marriage is the ultimate promise, so only proceed down the matrimonial path if you’re one hundred percent confident you can trust him. But be cautious, we all have a past and have done things we’re not proud of so don’t judge him based on past form and previous relationships.

He has a sense of responsibility
This is one of the primary qualities necessary in a husband. A man who doesn’t let you or others down when he knows he’s being relied upon, is a precious commodity. A man who doesn’t come through for you on important matters, and who squanders his cash on nights out on the town instead of saving for a deposit on a flat has a bit of growing up to do before he can be deemed reliable enough for marriage.

He’s pretty sorted
Earning megabucks shouldn’t be a pre-requisite, but if you’re planning on getting hitched, a man who’s a grafter not a slacker is an absolute must. A bloke who can show he’s got his act together in terms of where he lives, what he does for a living, how much money he’s got and has plans (that involve you) in place for the future is obviously a far better prospect than one who still lives with his mum, plays on his X-box all day and doesn’t have any savings.

SEX :DO YOU ASK YOUR PARTNER IF HE/SHE IS SATISFIED?

It was real but even now, many years after, it sounds incredible. I was just elected as Corps Liaison Officer, Oshimili local government council, Delta state.

I had moved to Corpers lodge in Asaba from Illah, where I was teaching before I became the CLO. Then one afternoon a group of corps members:three boys and three girls walked into the lodge, arguing over an issue. A girl and a guy whom I still remember his name as Charles, were in front of the group, gesticulating ferociously and debating on top of their voices.

Charles was saying that the girl could not stand him in bed,and the girl insisted that he could not last a minute on top of her; calling him a braggart who could not even satisfy a woman.

As the girl dismissed Charles he became more infuriated andbecame more determined to show her what he got.

After it was resolved that they do it and they chose one ofthe bedrooms in the lodge; of course not my own room.

The whole issue was so bizarre and so unreal for a young, naïve,timid guy like me. I couldn’t believe it until the two went into the bedroom, still arguing!

The argument stopped. But it didn’t last before it crescended into a cacophony. Charles and his, now, sex partner were on a shouting match. They quickly opened the door and the curious corpers who hoped to wait for one hour or more were disappointed that they came out too quickly. Not more than two minutes and doubted whether they did anything.

“Look at you. You are bragging for nothing. That small thing; and you cannot even last. I didn’t even feel anything before you started shaking as if you are dancing electric buggy. Local man; wetin you sabi sef. I pity your girlfriend,” the girl hauled at Charles, with her eyes blinking quickly and fiercely.

“This girl did something to me. She did something. Ask her what she did. She has juju in her hands!”

The girl booed him, “You no dey shame! See you!

The other corpers, now spectators, kept mum, stifling laughter and excitement. The two players wrangled and riled until late in the evening when each corper left the lodge, finally leaving Yvonne and me who live in the lodge.

What happened was a story that unfolded for days. It was told from different points of view and sometimes spiced for effect. To me, it was an aberration.

Charles is a stereotypical Nigerian or African who believes  he can perform on a woman. Men delude themselves on what they can do to women. They do not know that women are receptacles who can take the men and largely in Africa, women rarely complain. That they don’t complain does not mean that they are satisfied. Many men don’t satisfy their sex partners.

I have heard a man that bragged he can stay on top of  a woman for one hour! Truth is when you are in a sex bout; one minute can be as much as an hour. Get a stop watch and you can really know the time. So the best for you is not to aim to last a century, but to get your partner satisfied.

For a man to satisfy a woman he must acquire staying power without drugs. But it is not all about staying long; it is about satisfying your woman, making her come, just as the man does almost all the time he makes love.

Acquiring staying power is a work of art. It does not just come. First, a man should learn to be Quixotic. As he is going into the encounter he should have it in mind that his ultimate goal is to satisfy his partner. Two, he should have patience for foreplay and do it with a lot of commitment, forgetting his own desire. Three, even if it is for the first time,it will be wrong to preempt his partner and assume that she will like quick and fast thrusting, so he has to study her and know how to deal with the bout.

Every woman is different from another and their tastes on bed are as different as they are different in appearance. When you make a woman come before you do, she will appreciate you. Such altruistic attitude can count for you any day. In Africa, many women remain unsatisfied in bed. They are just objects that satisfy the sex craving of the men.

Back to Charles, about two weeks later, Charles came back tothe lodge and confided that immediately he “mounted” the girl, she twisted her buttocks like atilogwu dancer and he lost control and came.

“How she did it I cannot tell. I just lost control like Trailer that failed break.”

WITH RAMSEY NOUAH

Archie-Pearce Collins is a man we are all in love with.Yes ,Collins is the guy we all like to call a brother and friend.Collins has paid his dues in Nollywood(Nigeria),Gollywood(Ghana) and now Sollywood(Sierra Leone) movie industry.A Sierra leonian by birth but a true African,Collins unknown to many is one of the highest placed Africans in the UK who trains the Managers of one of London's biggest establishments but moonlights at various African events in his spare time.Collins simply put is the person you want around all the time due to an extremely good aura. So,when the news of The Perfect Plan movie produced by him filtered into town, the excitement new no bounds.A scriptwriter,Actor and Producer, he has been associating with top Nigerian Actors for years and always lend his support to all. This good relationship sees Collins being the first person to call most times when the Celebs hit town, this has paid off as the buzz in town is that many will storm Collins movie Premiere come the 30th of March,2012 at the Odeon Greenwich,London.Collins hopes to merge the Sierra Leone movie industry with the Nigerian and Ghanian Counterparts.Well equiped with a very rich drama experience and appearance in 'Everyday Life' Soap Opera sometimes ago, also a feature in Amina movie (with Omotola and Van Vicker),the time is indeed ripe for his major work.

WITH MR IBU

Perfect Plan, an all Sierra Leonian Cast movie is a thriller directed by hugely talented Adeyemi Lardner who also stars in the movie. With the careful selection of mainly America based Sierra Leonean Actors like Tejan Garba Barrie and Victoria Kabia Kamara ,Jimmy B( Bangura) among others, the movie is a trail blazer and the first fully Sierra Leonean movie to be premiered in the UK.The directorial and script writing skills of Lardner could be appreciated throughout the almost two hours duration of the movie and the spice of  trendy Western and African cultures stand out too.Even more interesting is the obvious caution taken to avoid over-acting that plagues quite a number of our productions.'I like people to be natural, not over act.I like to see the link and project well executed especially in Stage Dramas. There should be discipline', revealed,Collins. The joker in the movie is the suspense, you will guess but most likely guess wrong at the outcome of the story till the very last minutes. When a man tries to get a divorce to no avail, then seeks out a cash strapped Acquaintance to salvage the situation, anything can happen.Especially as he asked the 'helper' to move into his matrimonial home, seduce his wife and give him a reason to get a divorce. But life does not play out so easily because the wife falls in love with the new man, showers him with gifts, pays him a lot of money and all three of them stay under one roof!.She also refused to give her husband a divorce hence he approaches the 'helper' severally to go home. Now used to the goodies from the situation,he refuses to leave. A perfect plan to resolve the issue was hatched and there can only be losers and winners naturally.

WITH HAKEEM RAHMAN

WITH VAN VICKER AND SPOUSE

WITH RUKE AMATA

Perfect Plan movie will eventually get home to Sierra Leone and the news is that of  a huge expectation from the Diamond rich west African Country,we gathered
'I want people to see us as one,Nigerians,Ghanians,Gambians,Sierra Leoneans and every African.I am trying to bridge the gap so that we all get stronger. This is for everyone. Please ,come out to support.',concludes Collins.

The Perfect Plan happens to be the first Sierra Leonean movie to be premiered here in the UK. Many Nollywood Actors are supporting this movie and Desmond Elliott has shown his active support by coming to the UK primarily to do a shoutout regarding the movie. This movie is exceptionally brilliant with a unique story line and in a class of its own. Come and see it for yourself and have your take about this sensational and excellent movie. The date for the movie is March 30th 2012. Place: Odeon Cinema, Greenwich Bugsby Way SE10 0QJ. Time 9:30 Red Carpet and movie starts at 11PM. Please be advised that tickets will not be sold at the gate and there is a great demand for tickets, so secure your tickets well in advance to prevent any disappointment.

7 REASONS YOU ARE STILL SINGLE

7 reasons you're still single

If you’re in the market for finding that special someone, but true love seems to constantly elude you, there are several reasons why you might not be attracting Mr Right.

From low self-esteem through to too high expectations, women in particular are experts when it comes to jeopardising potential relationships before they’ve even had a chance to get off the ground. The good news is that there is something you can do about it…

You’re not trying
You may enjoy spending every evening at home in front of the telly, but if that’s the case you have no grounds for complaints about not having a boyfriend. Funnily enough, Mr Perfect isn’t hiding under your bed waiting for the right time to sweep you off your comfy slipper-clad feet. If you want to find him, you’re going to have to put yourself out there. Yes, that means getting up off the sofa and socialising. The occasional night in watching the box is fine, just as long as you’re making the most of your social network and mingling as much as possible the rest of the time.

You’re too fussy
Happily married author of romantic fiction Jenny Colgan has some expert insight for those of you with a long and detailed checklist against which every potential lover must be measured. “Great long-term relationships aren't made from interests in common, political allegiance, shared belief systems or hobbies. They're made from people being thoughtful about one another. Emptying the dishwasher. Listening to their day. Saying please and thank you. Treating them as you would anyone you really liked and admired. It's easier to say 'I'd walk over broken glass for you' than it is to take the bins out every night.” So ditch the checklist and start dating with an open-mind.

You’re too busy to date
If you’re serious about finding love, you have to stop hiding behind excuses like ‘I’ haven’t got time to date.” Or “I’m too busy with work.” Is your job really so time-consuming that you genuinely can’t spare the time to go out for a quick drink with someone new? It sounds more like you may be using your super-hectic lifestyle as a buffer to avoid potential intimacies. Slow down and make time for dating instead of using work as the reason not to face your fear of dating.

You’re a pessimist
It may sound harsh, but you shouldn’t be dating at all if you’re just going through the motions with a negative “I’ll never meet anyone” attitude. So you’ve had a few bad dates, and faced rejection. It’s all part of the ups and downs of dating and you need to be strong enough to brush it off and not become disillusioned. Take a more positive approach to meeting new people. After all, if you don’t believe there’s someone out there for you, you’re never going to find him.

You’re trying too hard
Being too invested in finding the ‘one’ is a common mistake among women. Devoting all your time and energy to your true love search may seem like a project worthy of your full attention, but you could come off looking desperate. And being overly keen to get coupled-up may also lead you to settling for less than you deserve. Keep up with other interests, see friends, pursue hobbies and get involved with things because you genuinely get something out of them not just because you think they’re the path to finding true love.

You’re unapproachable
If you surround yourself with a gaggle of girlfriends whenever you’re out, the man of your dreams is unlikely to fight his way through the crowd to ask you out. If you’re out on the pull, it’s better to go out in a smaller group of one or two friends so it’s easier for you to get noticed and approached. Similarly if you walk around with your headphones on, or always have your nose in a book, you’re unwittingly switching off potential avenues for being approached and asked out. Leave your iPod at home for a change, step out of your personal bubble and engage with the world around you. Make yourself more approachable by smiling at strangers, making eye-contact, and maybe even striking up a conversation.

You’re hung up on your ex
If you find yourself talking a lot about your previous relationship when you’re out on a date, it means you’re probably not ready to be dating yet. Ex-talk is never attractive to a potential partner and negative talk about former loves may end up showing you in a less than flattering light. Make yourself a rule never to bring up the subject of former partners and stick to it. Even if you’re asked about it, there’s always a way to brush the ex-talk aside.

FEMI OKUTUBO SPEAKS ON 17 YEARS OF THE TRUMPET NEWSPAPER.

FEMI AND LOLA OKUTUBO

RUNNING THE TRUMPET NEWSPAPER FOR THE PAST SEVENTEEN YEARS HAS NOT BEEN EASY-FEMI OKUTUBO.
The likes of Ovation magazine elevated the publishing business in the Nigerian UK community especially but with its operations now out of the UK, a yawning gap seems to have materialised, yet with a newspaper like The Trumpet owned by Femi Okutubo, hope is not all lost you would say. For the past seventeen years, this dodged and hardworking man has dished out juicy stories that affect Africans in the UK. Now circulated freely, The Trumpet can claim to be a household name and chiefly the main source of news that the mainstream media would not usually feature. Femi Okutubo will tell you the journey started to address the negative stories in the UK media, Portraying Blacks as Benefit Thieves and Fraudsters. Having told the story better, The Trumpet has succeeded. The internet and the aid of social media has fast tracked the work as well and made it the voice for Africans in diaspora. Initially a Monthly, it is now a fortnight publication and the response is adjourned very positive also with about 350,000 readerships in all. The Trumpet Known with the annual (Gathering of Africa’s Best), GAB awards, when people doing good works in the community are recognised and seen as true Africans. It has not been all rosy though,’ most people prefer to buy flashy material things rather than pay for a newspaper, ‘lamented Okutubo. Confessing to patronage issues as well, running a business at all in the global market these days is not easy. Apart from the GAB awards, Trumpet Connect a networking project that cuts across all Africans in the UK is doing well too. The passion of writing, Journalism and a noticeable gap in newspaper publishing in the UK African Communities spur the Economist to set up The Trumpet. And he did not mince word in pronouncing Nigerian Media as void in terms of publishing leaving a gap but the internet has helped a lot
Femi Okutubo studied Economics at the Ogun State University, Nigeria. With an MSc from Birbeck University, UK, he started the Trumpet in 1995,which has established him as a major player amongst his Contemporaries. The negative and distrusting image of Nigerians in the UK has not helped many Black Entrepreneurs but Okutubo who is married with four kids believes that with staying focus and being hard working, the sky is the limit. He advised that positive media and good disposition from the generality of Nigerians in diaspora will benefit all in the long run. .
The Trumpet interestingly kicked off from Nigeria and it could still be making a triumphant return especially with The Trumpet Ogun that recently berthed expectedly in Ogun state. Plans to replicate this feat in other states are in top gear, confirmed Okutubo.
